Former UTSA kicker Hunter Duplessis selected on final day of XFL draft

UTSA wins, 37-35, over Middle Tennessee.The Houston Roughnecks selected former UTSA kicker Hunter Duplessis with the fifth overall pick in the specialists portion of the XFL draft, nabbing him two places before the San Antonio Brahmas’ first pick of the day.
In addition to the three specialists and eight open selections San Antonio landed Thursday, the team also announced the signing of former Notre Dame quarterback Jack Coan.
