Robert Wilson, a 41-year-old former Chula Vista resident, is facing hate speech charges tied to an antisemitic incident in the Netherlands.
The Goyim Defense League was responsible for hundreds of antisemitic incidents across the U.S. last year. Its members are known for distributing flyers with hate-based messages and yelling slurs at people, which they record and post to their online platforms.
The suspect was then arrested on April 25 by Polish authorities, who searched his car and home in Poland in the presence of two Amsterdam detectives. His next court date is Oct. 5, when he will be brought before the three-judge section of the District Court of Amsterdam.
