Johannesburg - Former SAA audit committee chairperson, Yakhe Kwinana , appeared before the Johannesburg Specialised Commercial Crime s Court on Tuesday morning, without entering a plea to charges of fraud and contravention of the Public Finance Management Act . The charges are related to the irregular awarding of an auditing contract in 2011, which was investigated by the Zondo Commission of Inquiry into state capture.
In her affidavit, Kwinana stated her intention to remain silent until the State provides her with a copy of the docket, arguing that she was not involved in the tender adjudication process
