A lawsuit alleges Joseph Lemaster, 52, used an Instagram account using an alias to solicit nude photos from underage girls. Lemaster was hired in 2021 as a special education teacher and track coach at Pinson Valley High School.
A former Jefferson County high school teacher and coach used social media to solicit nude photos from students, according to a lawsuit filed on Wednesday.
On July 7, 2021, Lemaster contacted Jane Doe via Instagram, claiming to be a 19-year-old boy. He asked her to send him nude photos of herself and offered to pick her up at her home.“Lemaster kept writing, ‘Please tell me you are 18,’’' according to the lawsuit. “Jane Doe kept assuring him she was only 16 years old. Nevertheless, he kept begging her for nude pictures.
While being interviewed, Jane Doe said “Mork Sida” was active on Instagram. When texted, “Mork Sida” willing gave up his phone number.
