Former Marumo Gallants and Black Leopards shot-stopper King Ndlovu was tipped to join the Buccaneers last year, but the club opted against signing the player during the 2021 July/August transfer window.
Siya sources have since revealed that Ndlovu is on trial with Maritzburg United and was spotted in training with the side on Friday as well as Monday.Ndlovu parted ways with Leopards at the end of the 2020/21 season after his contract was terminated and thereafter enjoyed a month-long training stint with the Soweto giants.
The 29-year-old was understood to have signed a deal with Chippa United, during the tenure of Gavin Hunt, but then made a U-turn and joined Gallants instead.
