Bill de Blasio and Chirlane McCray have called it quits, and want to date other people.

They said his eight years as the leader of the Big Apple took a toll on the marriage, along with his failed 2020 presidential bid for the Democratic Party. “Everything was this overwhelming schedule, this sort of series of tasks,” he said. “And that kind of took away a little bit of our soul.” The COVID-19 crisis also left de Blasio “not as connected” to his wife and made him “emotionally very needy,” he added.
