North Vancouver RCMP is seeking more information on an alleged sexual assault by a Catholic high school teacher against a student.

On Monday, police spokesperson Const. “It is alleged that during his tenure as a teacher at St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School, Vesco sexually assaulted a student while he was teaching at the school from 2017 to 2019,” Sahak said.Sahak said that police want to speak to those people discussing the case on social media in the hope it will help with the investigation.
“Our priorities right now are to speak with those who have not yet come forward, to gather all available evidence, and to support the victim as we undergo this process. We know that this will be upsetting news for members of the community,” Sahak said.
