The 46-year-old was among eight arrested in Atlanta, according to reports.

Attorney General Chris Carr reportedly referred to the group as the “LOTTO Gang” and said they are facing charges of “trafficking of persons for sexual servitude, violation of the street gang terrorism and prevention act, conspiracy to violate the racketeer influenced and corrupt organizations act and aggravated assault and kidnapping.”Carr said the group used human trafficking to fund themselves and to purchase weapons.

Johnson is reportedly specifically being charged with trafficking of persons for sexual servitude, violation of the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act and RICO. Johnson, 46, played collegiately at Nebraska before beginning his career with the Raiders in 2000. He played for the team through the 2003 season before moving on to play for the Falcons in 2004 and the Cardinals in 2005. He then played two seasons of arena ball with the Georgia Force from 2007-2008 before wrapping up his career.

The highlight of his playing career came in 2003 when he returned a blocked punt for a touchdown for the Raiders in their Super Bowl XXXVII loss to Tampa Bay. If you purchase a product or register for an account through one of the links on our site, we may receive compensation.
