Former Muvhango actor Phindile Gwala clears up MK Party ceremony attendance rumours
Phindile Gwala's attendance at the swearing-in ceremony for MK Party members on Tuesday sparked speculation that she was a newly appointed member of Parliament.actor and recent graduate Phindile Gwala was not among the recently founded MK Party members sworn in as members of Parliament on Tuesday.
However, her representative, Thanduxolo Jindela, quickly addressed the speculation, saying Gwala was only in attendance"as a gesture of support" to Bishop Nokwethemba Mtsweni, who is a member of the MK Party."Phindile Gwala accompanied Bishop Nokwethemba, a member of the MK Party and a close friend and spiritual mother, to the swearing-in ceremony as a gesture of support," her representatives said in a statement.
"This has been a long road. The milestone achieved, I am grateful, and to God be the glory for His mercies endure forever," she wrote in the caption of the photo.
