Police said they received a 911 call from a North Lake Tahoe, California, home on June 5, 2021, and found Spohr dead from a gunshot wound. Wood was also shot and taken to a hospital where she recovered from her injuries, police said.Humboldt County Sheriff's OfficeWood died a year later, according to the police.
