Armed police were called to the home of former Manchester City star Fitzroy Simpson after it was blasted by a gunman on Tuesday night . The detached home was reportedly targeted, with shots being fired before the gunman fled the scene.
A police helicopter and dog unit were deployed to the home, in Stratton, Swindon, but no suspect was located. Police are continuing to appeal for information into the incident.The address, the garden and a large green space behind the property, were all cordoned off as a crime scene whilst detectives worked at the scene. .
