Former Love Island star Zara McDermott and her partner Graziano Di Prima have been eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing after a dance-off. Their Charleston dance failed to impress the judges and they lost to Adam Thomas and Luba Mushtuk.
A fifth celebrity has been eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing after a dance-off which one judge said featured “fighting spirit” from both couples.
McDermott had come back triumphant from two previous dance-offs but was unable to snatch victory for a third time.Ian Twell wrote on Facebook: "You should be so proud of how far you came and what you achieved.. Strictly for me is seeing someone who's never danced before, growing in confidence and blossoming. Zara was a great student and Graz you're an amazing teacher.
Thomas and Mushtuk’s American smooth dance to Magic Moments by Perry Como had received a total score of 32 points from the judges. Di Prima told his dance partner that he was “so proud” of her and said she is what Strictly “is all about”.
