Sechelt native played three seasons at forward for Prince George BCHL team

Now he’s bound for Queen’s.

“I’ve heard nothing but great things about Queen’s,” said Cousins, in a Spruce Kings team release. “It’s an honour to have the opportunity to be a part of such a first-class school and hockey program. I’m looking forward to the years ahead and I am excited to further my development as a player, person, and as a student through a program known for its excellent environment and culture.

As a forward, Cousins played all 54 regular season games for the Spruce Kings in 2021-22 and produced 16 goals and 14 assists for 30 points. He was equally productive in the postseason with two goals and three assists in 10 playoff games.
