There's great news for an ex-Kaizer Chiefs defender who's on the brink of qualifying for next season's coveted UEFA Champions League.
Just six points separate FCSB and the Romanian SuperLiga title. That’s great news for ex-Kaizer Chiefs star Siyabonga Ngezana, who will feature in next season’s UEFA Champions League.FCSB finished the regular Romanian season atop the standings with 64 points, nine points ahead of Rapid Bucuresti. In Romania’s SuperLiga, things then get resolved in a Championship Round.
FCSB meet strugglers Rapid Bucuresti next on 20 April, knowing a win will take them to within three points of the title. Winning the SuperLiga in Romania guarantees UEFA Champions League qualification.
