Former Kaizer Chiefs and Moroka Swallows star Kamohelo Mahlatsi is on the move to Marumo Gallants after leaving Chippa United.
Not long ago, the 25-year-old Mahlatsi was one of the most exciting youngsters in South African football while he was playing at SuperSport United. The Sebokeng-born midfielder continued to impress at Moroka Swallows before earning the move to Kaizer Chiefs.
“What we needed from him was to get goals and create goals. Although he did well to make the structure of the team better but it just didn’t work out in terms of what we planned with him. We needed to make changes but Kamo did well for the football club,” September concluded on the former Kaizer Chiefs star.Meanwhile, Gallants, who have purchased Moroka Swallows, are set to announce Mahlatsi ahead of 14 September’s opener against Kaizer Chiefs in Bloemfontein.
“It was unfortunate, and it happened. I don’t want to say it was supposed to happen that way,” Maluleka said via the Citizen. “I did contribute my part, my bit for that season, and my agent couldn’t I don’t want to say finish the deal. But we couldn’t agree to terms, unfortunately,” the former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder concluded.
