Former Columbus vice police officer Andrew Mitchell has been sentenced to 11 years in prison on Thursday.

He was accused of kidnapping sex workers under the guise of an arrest and coercing them into sex in exchange for their freedom. He was also charged with pressuring others to help cover up crimes and lying to federal investigators. During the investigation into his misconduct, he had others clean out his rental properties on Denune Avenue to destroy evidence and records.
