Peter Alan Moorhouse, former president and CEO of the Better Business Bureau of Atlantic Canada, is awaiting sentencing in Shubenacadie provincial court on charges of making arrangements to commit a sexual offence against a child under the age of 16 and making child pornography.
RCMP announced Feb. 9, 2021, that Moorhouse and another Enfield man, Carlos Ayapal Gonzalez Moraga, had been charged by the force’s provincial internet child exploitation unit. Moraga, 37, has pleaded not guilty to charges of sexual interference, making child pornography and making arrangements to commit a sexual offence against a child. He will stand trial in Nova Scotia Supreme Court in Truro in April.
