Only 13 per cent said they would consider cosmetic surgery and instead having new life experience is the top goal women are aiming for, with 38 per cent saying this was their priority; 32 per cent of men wanted a better work/life balance.
Money, of course, was the only thing holding us back, says the report, with 74 per cent saying that their financial situation was the main reason they hadn't already made changes. Peter Turner, Managing Director of Experian Interactive says:"People entering their 40s in 2011 are still only halfway through their working lives. Far from throwing money at new toys in a quick fix many are channelling their energy towards making positive, fulfilling changes."
