XDefiant players are hoping Ubisoft introduces Rabbids to the game in the same vein as CoD has with zombies.
Call of Duty Zombies remains one of Activision’s most popular game modes in its shooter series for a reason: mowing down hordes of the undead is just pure, unadulterated fun. So, since its players have dubbed XDefiant a “CoD beater,” it needs its own version of Zombies to be considered a competitor to the FPS crown. Of course, it doesn’t necessarily need to feature brain-eating enemies. Instead, it can include an invasive species based on one of Ubisoft’s IPs: Rabbids.
But that hasn’t stopped players from asking the devs for its addition to the game. Over on Reddit, u/kill_dalton_kill is on their ninth day of asking Ubisoft to bring Rabbids into XDefiant as part of a co-op Zombies mode.
