Forever 21 Philippines said it will continue its operations, following the filing of its main company in the United States of Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection recently.
“There is no effect on our Philippine operations. We continue full operations ofThe Philippines continues to be one of the stronger global operations,” SM Retail Inc. President Chito Manalo Jr. said in a statement.
“We will continue to offer up-to-date merchandise and are gearing up our marketing investments for the Christmas season,” Manalo added. The fashion retail giant opened its first store in the country in 2010. Earlier, Forever 21 Inc on announced that it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection to restructure its business.
