Nottingham Forest are claimed to be considering a move for this fan favourite which would see him return to the City Ground after nine years
Nottingham Forest are ‘watching’ the availability of Michail Antonio with a view to a romantic reunion with the former Reds favourite.
They say the 34-year-old believes he can play for another couple of seasons at the top level and despite interest from overseas would prefer to stay in the Premier League as long as the right opportunity emerges. Antonio missed three months of last season due to injury and ended up scoring seven goals in 32 appearances in all competitions. That brings his West Ham total to an excellent 67 from 254 matches.
Only Burnley, Everton and Sheffield United had a smaller goal return. Antonio has one year left on his contract although the Hammers have the option of extending to 2026.
