The Ford Transit Connect is officially dead in the U.S. after the 2023 model year wraps up, Automotive News confirmed.
Families and personal buyers never adopted small vans like the Transit Connect as folks in Europe have. Instead, the Transit Connect mostly saw duty as a, powering small businesses and taxi fleets. Its inability to catch on in the U.S. isn’t going to derail the model as a whole, though, as Ford says the Transit Connect will continue to be sold in European markets — it’s produced in Spain.
