Ford defended the massive infrastructure project, which has already led to numerous tree fellings in Toronto parks. “I just want to build infrastructure that’s going to carry, you know, millions of people over decades,” the premier told CityNews Wednesday. “We’ll make sure that we get a subway built … We’ll be planting tenfold … the trees are taken down.”
