, specifies it's for track use only, of course, and for tire heating. It's also said that this is achievable with current hardware, so it could be a software update that makes it function.
The patent drawing shows a Mustang Mach-E, so perhaps the GT model would be the first recipient of a mode like this. Of course, Ford did make the drift-ready Mach-E seen above, which had seven motors and 1400 horsepower, so it wouldn't be the first tire-smoking electric crossover from the brand.
