The Ford Motor Company in the Eastern Cape is investing R600-million to produce a third type of diesel engine for a new vehicle to be launched in 2022.
Ford says the new investment will not add to the current workforce.The company had previously committed R15.8-billion to the expansion of its Silverton assembly plant in Tshwane.
