The incident took place at Butlerfield Industrial Estate, near Bonnyrigg in Midlothian, on Thursday night.
Shocking footage has shown the moment when a van driver dumped a pile of rubbish from the side of their vehicle while driving at speed.
The CCTV clip shows a white van swerving to the right forcing a pile of rubble to fly from the vehicle. It then disappears around a corner. One took place on October 2 and the other last night. It has been the same waste both times which looks like asbestos roof cladding." They say they have also captured footage of the first incident on October 2 which showed the driver of the van "breaking heavily" as scrap "flew from the back of the van".
