Storm Babet has created some unique scenes along the coast with strong winds
One strange phenomenon from the unsettled weather was caught on camera, showing the moment a village was covered in sea foam that was whipped up by strong winds. The footage, which was captured by local Stonehaven Beach resident Fiona Daun, sees building blanketed by the sea foam, almost appearing to be a wintery snow scene.

After a sleepless night I went down at 6.30am to see if his house was okay. I had fitted the flood gate and placed sandbags at the front door but thankfully the wall in front of his garden prevented the water coming into his house.
