A dead roach was spotted in the kitchen walkway, and beans were stored on the floor. In the cooler, the health inspector spotted eggs stored on the floor and meat products stored above the lettuce. Salsa’s received a 85 grade.at 6731 Flores St. were using their bare hands when handling ready-to-eat foods, a health inspector noted. Poisonous and toxic material was also not stored in its original container.

The restaurant didn’t have a certified food manager registered with the city and had employees preparing food without a hair net or hat, according to the city. There were multiple boxes of food on the floor of the walk-in freezer and an employee was observed using their bare hands to put bacon on a burger that was served to a customer. It received a score of 82.
