16 children were rushed to different hospitals after getting sick from eating achaarlearners between the ages 11 and 15 reported to the office after experiencing dizziness and vomiting from a suspected foodborne illness

“Two Grade 7 learners from the school reportedly admitted to selling the achaar on behalf of a woman who is a Community Work Programme member,” said Chiloane. He said parents were immediately informed about the situation and they accompanied their children to the medical facilities.
