A food delivery driver who was the victim of a violent carjacking in Mississauga last week has died from his injuries, Peel police said Monday.and funeral expenses identified Nath as an international student who came to Canada in 2021.Nath was sent to hospital with life-threatening injuries on July 9near Britannia and Creditview Roads shortly after 2:10 a.m.
Police said he was dropping off a food delivery when the suspects attempted to take his vehicle, leading to the violent altercation. The suspects allegedly left Nath injured on the side of the road and fled in his vehicle, which police later located near Old Derry and Old Creditview Roads. Nath died from his injuries in hospital on July 14, although police did not share the news of his death until Monday.
