The Future of Africa FC chairman, Mohamed Lawal expressed his delight after some of the club’s players were selected for the Football Union Team tour of Spain in July next year.
The U15 and U17 teams clinched runners-up spots in the tournament after losing their finals on penalties. Lawal said he was immensely proud of his club’s achievements, adding this selection marks a significant milestone for the players and will offer them a platform to gain experience and exposure in Europe.
Their success at the recent Football Union Youth Cup and the selection of multiple players for the Spain tour underscores the FOA’s commitment to nurturing young talented players and fostering a bright future for football in Ekurhuleni, said Lawal.
