South Africans hoping to book last-minute flights for the Easter weekend will likely find FlySafair’s prices most attractive, a MyBroadband analysis has revealed.
Mango was grounded when it went into business rescue in July 2021. This was primarily the result of inactivity during the Covid-19 pandemic.However, the deal stopped when public enterprises minister Pravin Gordhan dragged his feet on providing the necessary approvals. Within a year of Mango entering business rescue, Comair — which operated domestic British Airways and Kulula flights — shut down its operations in the country.
FlySafair offered the best pricing of the lot on all routes, with its rates being between R504 and R924 cheaper than the next-most affordable option.
