Robert Ruhlander was charged with failure to report a death and neglect of an elderly or disabled adult.COCOA, Fla. — A Florida man is accused of failing to report the death of his 80-year-old mother, and may have lived with the woman’s corpse for weeks, authorities said.
According to Brevard County online court records, an arrest affidavit stated that officers with the Cocoa Police Department responded to Ruhlander’s home at 11:12 a.m. EST, on Jan. 1 after a grandchild of 80-year-old Kathleen Ruhlander asked for a welfare check.
