Ronald Strouse accused of murdering his 72-year-old wife after announcing she was moving out.

ByA 73-year-old man is accused of strangling his wife of 50 years to death after she said she was going to leave him and take all their money with her.

Susan Strouse was later found on the living room floor with severe bruising across her body, including on her arms, neck, jaw, and eye, which were consistent with the victim having been battered. Susan Strouse then made her husband a sandwich for lunch, which he said he did not eat. Later that day, the suspect approached Susan Strouse and repeatedly asked her why she wanted to leave him.

"The defendant made a conscious decision with a premeditated design to choke and strike the victim with his hands until she was deceased," it added.
