According to the bill, the bulk of the money from the $100 fines for speeding in school zones would stay in the local school district to pay for safety measures.

If the bill goes through and a camera was to go up, in addition to signs posting the speed limit in school zones, signs warning people about cameras would have to be added as well.If a vehicle is going more than 10 miles per hour over the active school zone speed limit, the camera would take a picture of the license plate.
