Flowers, toys and heartfelt messages have been left on Jura Street, Govan, in memory of Marelle Sturrock who was found dead inside her flat on Tuesday, April 25.Now, a murder investigation has been launched as cops continue searching Mugdock Country Park, Milngavie, for her partner David Yates who is wanted in connection with her death.
His subsequent movements are unknown after his vehicle was left at Mugdock Country Park but there is nothing to suggest he has left the area, police said. A police presence will remain at both Jura Street and Mugdock Country Park as our investigation continues. Anyone with information or concerns to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 0904 of 25 April or speak to any of our officers.
