One man was taken to hospital following the fire
The blaze occurred at around 9pm yesterday at the building on Shawhill Road, forcing a number of residents to be evacuated.
Emergency services rushed to the scene shortly afterwards, with firefighters later extinguishing the blaze. One man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment for smoke inhalation following the incident.A Police Scotland spokesperson told Glasgow Live: “Around 9.05pm on Saturday, 25 September, police and emergency services were called to a fire at a block of flats on Shawhill Road in Glasgow.
