Heavy rain is causing travel disruption and has led to some roads and schools shutting.

West Mercia Police says it is starting to receive an increase in 999 calls related to flooding. The force urged people to please only call 999 in an emergency.

Members of the public can go to a prepare for flooding page on the gov.uk website . To report a risk to life call 999 and to report a blocked road, call the local council, police added.
