Barry Allen has seen a resurgence in popularity in the past decade with the Flash TV show and the DCEU both giving him a major spotlight. These adaptations have often referred to him as the Fastest Man Alive, but in the comics this is far from true.
A brilliant cosplay by Spectre posted to instagram is reminding fans of this fact while also giving the character a great homage. Spectre's costume looks much like the version the character uses in the DCEU, which makes this cosplay very timely given the upcoming Flash movie. It is a great recreation, looking extremely accurate and even sporting goggles resembling the eye shields that the character wore in Justice League.

Barry is the version of the Flash that most people think of due to his recent exposure in movies and television shows despite not being as fast as people often claim. This makes him a popular character to cosplay as but also a potentially misleading one. Luckily Spectre's cosplay doesn't fall into this trap, making sure that people know that Barry Allen's Flash isn't the Fastest Man Alive.
