Thousands of Helly Hansen sweatshirts and hoodies recalled in Canada. Health Canada is warning customers who purchased the sweatshirts to stop using them after some of the fabrics failed to meet flammability regulations.

All textile products that are manufactured, imported, advertised or sold in Canada must adhere to the regulations, said the federal health agency.

The recall involves 27 different types of hoodies and sweaters that were manufactured in Sri Lanka and Turkey.The agency said 128,680 units of the affected products were sold in Canada between August 2019 to 2022.
