Five people were hospitalised after a four car smash on the M60. The crash happened on the clockwise carriageway near Eccles at about 5pm, with two people having to be cut from their car by firefighters.
One lane of the motorway remains closed between junctions 11 and 12, with traffic backing up to the Trafford Centre. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: "Shortly before 5pm on Saturday 19 November, firefighters were called out to a road traffic collision on the M60 between junctions 11 and 12.
