Only South African public degree-granting institutions may call themselves ‘universities’ and thus the subtle differentiation between tertiary institutions and universities as far as naming goes. Most accredited private degree-granting institutions use names such as ‘colleges’, ‘institutes’, or ‘business schools’.Real estate development firm Kanton is working on the college, which will be constructed along Boschkop Road in Pretoria East, roughly eight kilometres from Solomon Mahlangu Drive.
Expansion projects are currently underway at Rosebank College’s mega-campuses in Cape Town, Pretoria, and Braamfontein.
