The missing German tourist who went missing in Cape Town almost a month ago has still not been found. Five men from Hout Bay's Hangberg fishing community who are suspected of having robbed and stabbed Nick Frischke have appeared in court:

Five men from Hout Bay’s Hangberg fishing community who are suspected of having robbed and stabbed the missing 22-year-old German tourist have appeared in court.

Igshaan Fisher, Jason Abrahams, Vanroy Petersen, Carlo Guenantin and Melven Guenantin appeared briefly in the Wynberg Magistrates’ Court on charges of robbery with aggravating circumstances on Monday, 6 March., the suspects claim Frishcke ran away after the robbery and had not been seen since. Frischke who went missing in Cape Town almost a month ago has still not been found. Police called off the search for Nick Frischke on Friday but all efforts will resume if new leads are received.Meanwhile, the Frischke family has hired a private investigator and clairvoyants to help look for the 22-year-old.

Police arrested the suspects after finding items belonging to the German tourist in their possession including his credit card, cell phone and backpack., the court ordered that photos of the suspects not be published as an identity parade is to be held as part of the investigation. Western Cape NPA regional spokesperson Eric Ntabazalila said some of the suspects were also implicated in unrelated robbery cases.

The accused are expected to appear back in the Wynberg Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 4 May for further investigation as the police still required witness statements, DNA and cellphone evidence.082 827 3212
