A large-scale search operation is underway in KwaZulu-Natal following the horrific discovery of five men brutally murdered in the Bambayi area of Inanda, northwest of Durban. The victims, all aged between 19 and 26, were allegedly abducted from their homes in the early hours of the morning, around midnight, according to reports from The Witness. Their bodies were found later this morning, just after 6:30 am, bearing multiple injuries. One victim's arm was severed in the attack.
Police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda revealed that three bodies were discovered at a local sports ground, situated near a school, while two more were found at a separate field approximately one kilometer away from the initial crime scene.Netshiunda confirmed that a 'massive' manhunt has been launched to apprehend those responsible for this brutal massacre. The motive behind the killings remains unclear at this time, and police are urging anyone with information related to the case to come forward.
