A horrific knife attack in Inanda, South Africa, has left five young men dead. Police are investigating the murders and appealing to the public for information.
Five young men were brutally murdered in Inanda , KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, in a horrifying incident that has left the community shaken. Police responded to reports of mutilated bodies found scattered across an open field in the Bambayi area on January 17, 2025. The victims, ranging in age from 19 to 26, were discovered with multiple injuries, including one who was missing an arm.
According to Colonel Robert Netshiunda, the provincial police spokesperson, the men were allegedly abducted from their homes around midnight and their bodies were found after 6:30 am. \Netshiunda stated that a bush knife appeared to be the weapon used in the gruesome attack. Police have launched a large-scale investigation and are appealing to the public for any information that could lead to the arrest of the perpetrators. They urge anyone with knowledge about the incident or the suspects' whereabouts to contact the Crime Stop hotline at 086 001 0111 or visit the nearest police station. This horrific incident follows a similar case in Bergville, where a 33-year-old man stabbed his relatives, killing five people, including two children. In that case, the suspect was arrested and charged with five counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder.
