An Israeli company has successfully created a fish filet via 3D printer — hoping to bring the product to market soon in an effort to save the environment.

A company boasts that the taste and texture are the same as traditionally caught fish but that their product does not harm the environment. Steakholder Foods is a company whose goal is using cells from fish and other animals to grow meat within their ecosystem in order to preserve the welfare of animals, according to the company’s website.
