Strangest of all are signs that the Conservatives are starting to attract a plurality of the youth vote. Starting last summer,began showing Conservatives capturing a larger share of the under-34 vote than either the NDP or the Liberals. The Conservatives easily captured the popular vote in both the 2021 and 2019 federal elections, but fell well short of the Liberals in seat count.Article content
It would be a much closer result than the 32-seat advantage yielded in 2021, but if the Trudeau government could strike another de facto coalition with the NDP they’d be able to stay in charge.
