Construction is underway on the first of around 10,000 homes planned for a sprawling property north of Fort Worth.
D.R. Horton has begun construction on homes at Bluestem, a 500-acre project from Dallas developer PMB Capital Investments that will include 1,200 single-family homes along FM 3433 between the cities of Rhome and Newark.
The first phase of Reunion will open for sales in the next few weeks with homes from Perry Homes, American Legend and UnionMain Homes. The homes at Bluestem will be ranch-style houses from D.R. Horton’s Rio series, beginning in the mid-$300,000s. The community will include large lakes, waterfalls, rolling hills and woodlands. Amenities will include walking trails, a resort-style pool, a pavilion, an event lawn, a pond, a playground and a dog park.
Rolling V Ranch was a long-term bet on demand for lower-priced homes on the outskirts of Fort Worth when PMB CapitalThe area is easily accessible from the Alliance corridor and is just northeast of Eagle Mountain Lake, about 18 miles northwest of Alliance Town Center and 12 miles west of Texas Motor Speedway.
