Lots of chains coming to town this month
If you've ever wondered what it'd be like to have a taste of the Caribbean in Blackpool, than you needn't wait any longer.
Opening today at 11am, a brand new Turtle Bay restaurant and bar will see its grand opening in Blackpool. The Caribbean-inspired eatery is situated on the Promenade, so it's perfect for anyone who's visiting the town or is looking for a new pit-stop on their night out. You can enjoy a bottomless brunch with unlimited cocktails, the jerk-inspired menu or 2-4-1 Happy Hour drinks. All of this can also be enjoyed whilst looking out onto the Irish Sea, as the location of the brand new restaurant has Turtle Bay's only sea view - just like being in Jamaica without the costly plane ticket.
If you're also wondering how it all started, the restaurant's founder, Ajith was in Barbados and looking for somewhere to eat and found Surfside, which was all about immersing customers into the Caribbean experience. Enjoying the cocktails, rum, bar snacks and friendly service, he knew something similar had to be done in the UK - thus, Turtle Bay was born.
