First look at Saoirse Ronan's hair transformation in new movie The Outrun

The film is an adaption of Amy Liptrot's memoir of the same name, with Ronan set to play Rona. Rona is a woman who's returned home to the Orkney Islands after more than a decade away and a stint in rehab. An official synopsis for the film outlines Rona's journey to reconnect with her home and overcome addiction, reading:"As she reconnects with the dramatic landscape where she grew up, memories of her childhood merge with the more recent challenging events that have set her on the path to recovery."
